Unlike traditional V60 drippers where coffee is extracted through the constant pouring of hot water, this dripper is specifically made for immersion extraction. A metal ball placed at the base of the dripper blocks water from flowing, allowing the water to stay inside the dripper for 2 minutes. When you're ready, with just the push of a button, the coffee flows down into the coffee cup. This allows for easy, even coffee extraction.

I've tried a lot of pour over gadgets, but this one gives me a better cup of coffee. I'd recommend looking up some of the recipes online and experimenting until you find the one that works for you. Once you get your grind right and your pouring sequence down, you'll like this one.
