To help your dog maintain an ideal body condition, monitor your dog's weight on a regular basis, making sure that his ribs are easily felt and the waist is visible when viewed from above. Maintaining an ideal body condition can impact your dog's lifelong health. No Supplements Necessary: Purina ONE provides 100% complete and balanced nutrition. There is no need to add vitamins, minerals or other supplements, unless specifically directed by a veterinarian. This Purina One Lamb and rice has been great for my sweet boy. I took him in 5 months ago as a foster, not knowing much about dogs. He is allergic to chicken and broke out in many hot spots. It took him a couple of weeks to be okay with the change in dog food but now loves the lamb and rice. Way less hot spots and he's eating less grass too!! (Before and after photos attached)

I'd been switching around on dry kibble dog foods for awhile because I'm on a fixed income and trying to afford dog food is getting hard at times, especially when the electric bill is so high in the summers out here. I got a coupon for this stuff and figured I'd check it out. Well, I'm pleasantly surprised. My dog, who normally is just a tad finicky on her eating of dry kibble, LOVES this! This is just about the only dog kibble that she'll eat her whole amount for the day in one sitting and leave the bowl clean! Used to be, with the other brands she'd just take a mouthful and eat that and go lay down until later then come back and do the same thing all day long. This must be good stuff because she eats her measured amount, cleans the bowl and then doesn't whine to me later that she's wanting more. It's satisfying her completely. I've seen no change in her bowel habits or amounts, so it is not upsetting her tummy which is always a good thing! I think I'm definitely going to stay on this one!
