I have one of these that is several years old. It was showing wear so got a new one. I love the way bacon cooks on this. I put paper towels underneath as well as on top. It makes it nice and crispy. The cooking directions are pretty accurate: 1 minute per slice plus sometimes a little more for thick bacon slices.

Helpful tip-just cover the bacon w/ a piece of paper towel to keep the greasy bacon juice from dirtying ur microwave ...the steam does escape but that's w/ almost anything you might cook in any microwave. Give 'ur microwave a much better lifespan. Cover everything. Sincerly, Inez P. :)
