Easy way to make your tub look shiny again!

This worked waaaay better than expected. Covered flawlessly. Dried well. Definitely give it a bit longer to dry if you will add a suction bath mat. Had a few paint runs… I dotted with a paper towel, sprayed again, and you can’t even tell. VERY strong smell. Even with a vent I was choked out. But worth it.

Bathroom countertop cover up MIRACLE!

Omggg this stuff is AMAZING! I live in a mobile home and my bathroom sinks/countertops are low quality and were faded and super scratched up and just stained and gross looking. I lightly sanded them down, vacuumed, then put 3-4 coats of this stuff on them over a 4 day period and they are GLORIOUS! I wish I would’ve taken before pictures! One can did each of my bathroom sinks 3-4 times. I have NOT used this in a bathtub, only counters, but the results are great! However, I do NOT recommend that you trust the drying times according to the can. I kept going back and checking mine hour after hour, and it seems to be best when it sits for 10-12 hours. But definitely worth buying if you don’t want to completely remodel a whole sink and countertop!

My tub is old, house built in 1983. After years of cleaning it, soft scrub, bleach, finish was wearing out and had almost grey primer like color showing through on the bottom inside. I cleaned the tub very thoroughly and masked off the top edges along tile. I sprayed 3 light to medium coats with each coat drying about 15-20 minutes between coats. Only the bottom 1/3 and just the top almost triangular flat four corners where you typically set shampoo and body wash bottles is all I sprayed. It took about 5/6th of one can. The fumes are super strong and your eyes even can feel a slight burn. I left a vent on for 24 hours and the next morning the fumes were halfway gone, after 48 hours 75% gone and after 3 days barely any smell left. You have to let it cure the full 72 hours/3 days before using the tub again. But boy does it look GREAT! It coated well, blended in perfect, looks 99% new again. You have to have a true white bath to just partially paint it, if you have an off white bath you’ll need to spray the whole bath to get a uniform one color bright white color finish and will need two cans. Or maybe they make more than one color tub paint? One can is adequate for doing mostly spot repair coverage like I did. Caution, when you take your first bath or shower three days later the finish is very slippery because it’s like a gloss white porcelain finish again. Now if you have let your tub go for so long and it’s basically a rust bucket don’t expect this to be a miracle fix all. It’s for light to moderate wear that can be repainted. I was extremely pleased with my results and was really impressed. I’ve used the tube shower plenty of times already and it looks and feels super durable. Oh yes, the fumes are REALLY bad, but be patient, open a window if you have one in your bathroom and leave the vent on a full 20-24 hrs to exhaust the fumes. They smell like pickles and pineapples mixed together to me. But trust me, you vent it and in 4 days it’s virtually just about totally gone. And make sure after you soft scrub and bleach clean prepping the tub before painting that you thoroughly clean the residue from the soft scrub and rinse the bleach away REALLY good and have it totally dry and try to have it low humidity in the bathroom before starting to paint. Follow the directions be patient and you’ll end up with an almost like new tub.
