Scotch Packaging Tape

I bought this last week and it now has a safety feature for the cutting teeth unlike earlier version I use to have. This had made this dispenser useless, the teeth do not extend far enough to easily cut the tape and there is not a way to adjust. So it either does not cut the tape or you have to put your other hand in and push the tape to the teeth to cut, so much for safety when you have to do that... Either go back to the older model without retractable teeth which is my suggestion or completely redesign to something that works or extends the teeth with less paddle movement. But as it it worthless so buy the cheap no safety plastic one with no handle that just holds the roll but works and cuts the tape. If I had known I would never have spent the extra money
