Skil-Care has been developing and designing products for nursing homes, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and homecare settings. Our ultimate goal is to enhance resident care and in addition, to assist healthcare facilities in reducing the occurrence of skin breakdown in the bed or wheelchair.
This is a portable cushion that provides added comfort to the back and seat of any 16" to 18" chair. It cushions the back with 1.5" Foam and cushions the seat with a coccyx cutout gel-foam pad. The coccyx cutout provides offloading for zero pressure in this area. This product enhances comfort and prevents pressure sores. It is covered with a stretch, wipe clean low shear ii removable cover. The cushion folds up and is convenient to carry with a loop. The cover can be laundered once the cushions are removed.
