Lightweight, quilted but hardly any batting .. edges weren't very straight and don't really hang right. Using as a coverlet at bottom of bed for added thickness cause just laying out as a bedspread just made it look like checkered sheets it's so thin…. Shams work ok too… it wasn't expensive and I like the color… got what I paid for I guess
