Our dual purpose Safari Pin and Bristle Combo Dog Brush features the benefits of both wire pins to lift out loose hair and debris and bristles to distribute the dog's natural oils throughout the coat. For coats with mats or tangles, use a comb or rake to detangle the hair prior to brushing. Starting at the head, move toward the tail, then down the legs using long strokes that follow the direction of hair growth. The pin brush can also be used to fluff the coat by brushing against the direction of hair growth.

Quality Dog Brush Made in Taiwan
Pros: The handle and the brush head are one piece. My dog has a heavy coat and most brush heads fall off the handle after a few days to a few months. This one should have no such problem. Also, it is made in Taiwan, so if buying products in a nation that starts global pandemics is a problem for you, no worries here. Possible Con: The steel tines are rounded for protection, but not as large as some other brushes. It is not an issue for me, because my dog has a heavy coat. I think he actually prefers them. But if your dog has a light coat, it might (MIGHT) be a problem.
