These lights are bright. Not like “OH MY GOSH!” bright, but bright enough to be able to definitely see what you're doing. The only thing I don't like, is the fluorescents. They give your skin a kind of gray tone, which is scarey the first time you see yourself in the mirror. Haha

These are bright tube non-led bulbs. Use in an old 1940's desk light and they are great for my desk light. Hard for me to use LED as the light makes make my eyes vibrate or do something where natural and florescent does not do this. Holiday lights are the same, cannot look at led but regular bulbs ok. Scientific fact that women and men see different light optically and these work fine. These bulbs are new so do not know the longevity yet.
