McCormick Gourmet Kosher Chinese Five Spice Blend, 1.75 oz Bottle

I really enjoyed using McCormick Gourmet Chinese Five Spice Blend. As someone who is Asian, five spice is a seasoning I use often in regular cooking, especially for marinading meats, so I've tried quite a few different brands over the years. Compared to other products I've used, this one has a fresher aroma and a more balanced flavor. Some blends can be too strong on one spice, but this one has a nice mix that adds warmth and depth without overpowering the dish. It works great for marinades, roasted meats, stir-fries, and even adding flavor to vegetables. I especially like using it to marinate pork, chicken, or duck because it gives the meat a rich, authentic taste. I would definitely buy this product again. The quality and flavor make it worth keeping in my kitchen.

Being a bit skeptical, I used the spice blend immediately upon its arrival. It smells wonderful something I totally did not expect and so I tried a spice cake! and the depth of flavor that it added was just simply wonderful. The whole family enjoyed it. I next tried it in my Asian stir-fry with chicken the blend again added so much flavor. The aroma smell and taste is amazing I will definitely keep experimenting and I am going to try a pumpkin pie with the spice blend instead of the routine spices. Thanks McCormick. It's a real winner.
