It has a specific design to provide the ideal color and lighting properties conducive to plant and flower growing. This glow light stick has a very slim profile, allowing you to place it almost anywhere. It produces 75W of incandescent lighting equivalent to just 17W of energy and 1093 lumens. This fixture measures 2.5" x 2" x 28". It contains a long 5' cord with plug and a convenient on/off switch. Additionally, it produces lighting for up to 10,000 hours. It's beneficial for indoor plants and flowers, as well as seedlings and clones.

I needed a Fluorescent light for under my kitchen cabinets. I bought this light and love it-I keep some of my house plants under it too. Such a great light. I put up two screws and mounted the light so it stays put. It has a plastic lens cover over the Fluorescent bulb. Great!
