Meriville 1-inch Diameter Metal Tension Rod, Adjustable 18-30, Black

I like the contemporary look. They were bought with curtains to replace closet doors. They look very nice.

Excellent tension rod. Looks very nice, almost "expensive" looking. I had an unusual need for a tension rod, not the usual. I have two closets with bifold doors, both a little over 49" wide frame to frame. I need to keep cats out LOL... it's their cat food closet and dog food closet. It has been years, we have tried everything, those buggers are determined and they get it. We keep everything in sealed totes though so HA HA on them, but they still know it is there so in they go when we are not home. This tension rod has been on the door for two weeks .... nothing! I laugh when I think we have foiled them. I can almost see them tapping paw, thinking "how!!" The rod is nice and tight, doesn't even really show too much as the doors are white, the rod a nice satin polish silver. I need to get another one for the french doors -- off now to see if there one an identical one of that width. It's an excellent tension rod and I would like to match them up!
