the software controlling this electric stove top is buggy, and therefore often when you turn on the heater and start cooking, it will turn off shortly afterwards.. see this is kind of the Bugaboo of modern consumer products including things like automobiles Etc.. complexity is fragile, and simplicity is robust.. but the people designing these products are not doing a good enough job and therefore the products are overly complex and fragile and they don't work very well and this is a very good example of such a phenomenon.. the best people the smartest people not being hired to do these things.. our benevolent managerial class does not think we need the best people designing these things and this product is a poorly designed product because it is overly complex and therefore does not work as it should often
