Excellent tool!

Per my daughter: "it is an excellent book! It tells you exactly how to answer questions in order to get a certain score. They give examples and it is very helpful!" I would highly recommend this book and future books if your child isn't at the ACT-taking age yet. My daughter is very pleased with this book. It's an excellent and helpful tool that will help her get a higher score.

Not 100% what I thought but still great buy!!

I gave this 4 stars because it does have the practice tests and a lot of very useful information on how to prepare for the ACT test, but I thought it would be more of a workbook type learning tool to at least briefly go over some of the more difficult material such as Trig in math, or geometry or even common mistakes made in the english section to help you review what you have been taught. I have been out of school for over 20 years and we did not have to take ACT tests when I first went to college. I am now trying to advance my degree to the next level and to get into the desired program they are asking me to take it now to meet minimum program requirements. I really needed something to brush up my skills with. If it had that information I would have given it a 5/5 stars. It was still worth my money and I am overall happy with it.

Wouldn't recommend unless you'r going for an Ivy

I never read it and they are doing away with the ACT to get into colleges unless you are trying for an Ivy League. Waste of money for me.
