Inconsistent sizing

I ordered the black ones after trying on in store and really liking them. I ordered them because the store did not have black, but when searched online I saw that it indeed did come in the color I really wanted. So I decided to order black and brown. The brown fit perfect just like when I tried them on in store but the black ran like two sizes too small. It even felt and looked like it was made out of a different material.
