These were purchased for my living room ottoman. At first glance I thought they would be too small but they fit perfectly. The color is a smooth black just as pictured. The size of both is accurate. They will come in handy to set our drinks on and the smaller one will hold remotes and other small items when needed. They are med weight but sturdy enough for drinks.
