exactly what I was looking for.

exactly what I was needing, I looked all over Amazon for this type of adaptor but all the reviews were horrible, I finally went to my local walmart found this, took it home and I dont know what the other reviewer was doing but it only took me about 10 min to install and it works perfectly. I am going today to pick up another on as I have to redo my other trailer now.

Worked for me

I didn't have any problems with it. It has a little screw just like many other trailer connectors, but I was able to handle it with my potato fingers. The aluminum housing is durable and supports the plastic shell on the back. I've had plastic housing connectors in the past that have deformed, where as this one shouldn't. You may have to o'ring lube the grommet to get the cable through depending on the gauge of your cable.
