These are beautiful nightstands. They are solid wood throughout, NOT veneer. They arrived completely assembled and packed like a brick. The packaging weighs more than the unit itself so they arrived without any damage. They are large nightstands, make sure you check the dimensions. They are slightly distressed wood (whitewash), and I would say they have an undertone of a pinker oak color than a yellow. I have white oak floors that are pretty neutral and the nightstands look slightly pinker than my floors. The drawers are a nice size and roll very smoothly with a firm closure. The rattan shelf is rattan on wood so it's a solid shelf. These are great quality nightstands for a decent price, although all furniture is way too expensive right now. I'm in love with the nightstands.
