Replacement insert is a sham.
This replacement insert for the Dewalt DW705 is a piece of junk. The seller used terminology like "robust construction" to describe this product. After making the initial cut into the insert for the zero clearance it was revealed that the insert is not solid but instead made with an internal honeycomb network of voids. I would not be surprised if this thing was generated on a 3D plastics printers. Using the voids internally does not require as much plastic to make it. Unfortunately this insert began deteriorating within hours of using it. It is nowhere near as well made as the original yellow plastic insert that came with the saw. A very disappointing purchase. Buyer beware.
