First off, to be perfectly honest, I wasn't really expecting much because of the price. When they arrived, I was blown away! They were definitely more than I expected. most of the boots have the laces run up with no break at the ankle. Hunters, construction workers understand what I'm about to say. if you don't have the break, which these do, it pits a strain on your ankle, which will wear you out. they're lite-weight, good grip, excellent padding on the foot area. overall these were probably in the top 5 of all time boots I've bought in my 65 years of life! The only gripe I have, is the little piece of material sewed in where the zipper is. When zipped up, if you don't have high socks on, it will put a pressure point on your leg. Other than that... I'll give it a 9 on a scale of 1-10. I will buy again and I've told all my friends about these.
