I needed something to really clean my stairs as spot treating the stairs was not working well enough. I ended up using this on other high traffic areas in my house too because I was so impressed with how much dirt this cleaner collected that I could not see was there. This thing completely removes crusty stains, poop, pee and vomit off my rug and couch. The spots on my rug are actually white now because they're clean.
