100V Model, Buyer Beware

This unit is the 100v model that was manufactured for the Japanese market, not the US market. While it will work on the US power system it is going to degrade the motor severely over time leading it to stop working more rapidly than the one meant for the US. Save your time and money as well as the headache and avoid buying this tool. Go to an authorized distributor here in the US and purchase it the 120v model for the cost of this item, it being so cheap here will make you regret it when you have to buy 2 of them. I would also like to note that this will most likely ship directly from Japan and the one I had received was covered in Amazon stickers meaning it's a shared inventory.
