I was looking for a mid-range gaming laptop that can handle games at 1080p at max settings. I do not plan on using an external monitor and resolutions over 1080p do not interest me in the smaller form factor of a laptop screen. This little guy was perfect for my needs. It handles every game I throw at it at max settings while maintaining 100 fps. The GPU is almost equivalent to a 3070, and multiple review channels have concluded that overall it essentially has the same performance as a PS5 in PC form. It has 2 fans (one for CPU and GPU), good airflow (the vents on the top and bottom are for air intake, the one on top is NOT the speakers), and 4 exhaust ports. The fan noise can get loud when they crank all the way up, but the fan curve can be adjusted. As a bonus, I was able to get it on sale for $799 which is an unbeatable price for this kind of performance. Very happy with this purchase. Please do note, the hinges suffer from a design flaw that affects many other laptops so it is crucial to be proactive in keeping them in good condition (there are many guides on Youtube about how to do this).
