Thin

The material in these shorts is real thin. I have bought shorts at other sporting good stores for less than half the price of these UA shorts and they had thicker material and two layers. Also, the UA logo is a tacky kind of rubber-like material. From previous experience, this type of material doesn't hold up in the dryer as it tends to crack and flake off. Not saying that will happen in this case, but these shorts definitely won't be going in the dryer.

1st Freedom series shorts ever...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a veteran, I really like companies that show their "love" for Americana. The Freedom line of clothes & hats from UA is a modern way to project the American spirit. The shorts fit quite well, are comfortable, and are easy to wear and clean.

Quality concerns

Nice weight but quality was not up to UA past

Material and weight are excellent and pockets are a nice touch. However, the waist band stitching after one wear is unraveling and it is in one piece so it was made that way. Looks like I will get two wears out of these shorts. Not your best effort UA. So disappointed in this purchase.
