The radiation shield allows airflow while protecting the sensor from the elements and the effects of solar radiation. Mount the WH31-SRS to any Ambient Weather Mounting Hardware (1.25" OD), vertical surface or horizontal surface using the included hardware: screws and anchors for wood, stucco, or drywall and U-bolts for pole mounting up to 1.25” outer diameter.
