Spectracide Triazicide Insect Killer for Lawns helps protect your home from invading, lawn-damaging insects. This granular formula kills for season-long control against ants (excluding harvester and pharaoh ants) at a rate of 2 lb. per 1,000 sq ft. These granules also help protect your home from crickets, chinch bugs, armyworms, roaches, ticks and other listed insects. Use outdoors on lawns and as a band treatment around your house foundation. Treat ants (excluding harvester and pharaoh ants) and other listed insects when they first appear or when you notice lawn damage. Distribute granules evenly around the treatment area. Water in lightly immediately after application. Once the treated area has been watered and is dry, children and pets can return to the lawn. Read entire label before use.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Keep children and pets off treated area until product has been watered in and lawn is dry. In New York State, this product may not be applied to lawns within 100 ft of a coastal marsh, or stream that drains directly into a coastal marsh. Step 1: Determine size of the job; measure the area to be treated. Step 2: Use spreader setting chart to determine appropriate setting for your spreader. Step 3: Treat as directed in rate chart. Thorough coverage is important. Water in granules immediately after application. NOTE: Do not apply more than six (6) times per year per location at low use rate. Do not apply more than three (3) times per year per location at high use rate. Do not allow product to run off from target site or apply within 24 hours of rain. Do not make applications during rain. Apply this product directly to the lawn or garden area. Water treated area as directed on this label. Do not water to the point of runoff. Application is prohibited directly into sewers or drains, or to any area like a gutter where drainage to sewers, storm drains, water bodies or aquatic habitat can occur. Do not allow the product to enter any drain during or after application. Make no more than six applications per year at low use rate or three times for highest use rate. Treat ants (except harvester and pharaoh) and other insects when they first appear or you notice lawn damage. Directions for use... Measure the area to be treated. Use the spreader setting chart to determine the appropriate setting for your spreader. Treat lawn as directed in rate chart. Thorough coverage is important. Water in granules immediately after application. Keep children and pets off treated area until product has been watered in and lawn is dry. Distribute granules uniformly. Water lightly immediately after application. Overall Lawn Application: Apply with a fertilizer spreader. See spreader setting chart on label. Apply when grass is dry. I use this product every year to keep ticks, fleas %26 other creepy crawlirs outta my yard. I've been using it for about 10 years now, and will use no other brand. It says "season long" control %26 i believe this to be correct. i do generally apply it again at the end of summer just bc it makes me feel better, but i do not think it would be required. it controls most all pests all summer long, i have very little issue w/bugs is any kind, and i very rarely have snakes either

Had 2 different exterminators treating for odorous house ants. Still had occasional breakthrough infestations. The bug guy would give us Terro ant baits. The bug guy couldn't get rid of the bugs so I got Spectracide Triazicide and got rid of the bug guy. Followed directions and laid a perimeter around the house and foundation. 4 months in and still no bugs. Wife's happy which makes me happy.

My husband uses this on our property mainly for fire ants. He believes it to be effective and it seems to work on killing them. When we find a mound we apply the Triazicide, and the next day there's no activity. We don't have problems with grubs in our horse pastures or lawn areas. Best of all it doesn't smell like products using orthene.
