Consider Telfa adhesive dressings for convenient wound care suitable for many scenarios. Each strip is 4 x 5 in, making them large enough to cover a series of wounds across a patient's back or stomach. This makes the adhesive island dressings useful for injuries and following surgical procedures. Each island dressing has a soft, flexible backing to conform around wounds. The non-woven dressing is absorbent for lightly draining wounds. Adhesive on all sides of the pads forms a seal to keep out debris and bacteria. These non-adherent dressing pads are also suitable to cover and protect a central or peripheral IV site for added security. Each dressing comes individually wrapped and sterilized, so that whenever you need it, it will be clean and safe for use on broken skin.

These Work Well!
These are the brand my doctor uses and worked well to cover the stitches I had. I tried Band-Aid, but the glue (or whatever) caused a nasty allergic reaction.
