This junior string guitar seems to be the ideal size for the beginner player who starts out when they are just a kid. My neighbor's kid just started trying to learn and he wants to be a country and western singer so when his birthday popped up, I got this for him. This particular one came with nylon strings but you can get steel strings as well. He told me it was so easy for him to use and his hands are still growing of course but for now, they are just slightly too small for it, and that concerned me but he said that just helps him learn how to adjust and as he gets older and larger, the fact that he practiced with smaller hands now makes it easier for him to adjust as he grows into his size and adjusts. He is a happy kid. The only thing I need now is for his parents to soundproof their garage and his bedroom lol.
