I have used the previous version of the RP 251 Press Tool before, and when it broke I bought another one and continue to use it. RIDGID Press Tools are really well made, and the new RP 251 is lighter, more powerful, and I really like the trigger position. Honestly, you could say that my plumbing work is divided into two periods: before using a RIDGID Press Tool and after. Also, could you please let me know how and where I can get my previous version repaired? I live in Fairfax, Virginia.

Another phenomenal rigid tool

So I’m normally a Milwaukee guy through and through and I’ve used both of their propress’s for a number of years at different plumbing companies. Although good products when I was in the market to purchase one for myself I did a bunch of research and landed on the RP251. I like how compact it is with the 360° swivel head and how light it is. It fits in some tight spaces and works great. Starting your own company can always be a daunting process. But the one thing I was sure of after one use was that I made the right call by choosing the RP251. It makes my life easier and shaves time off of any job I use it on. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
