Good hollywood entertainment. Historical facts do back up events that happened in the movie. Unsure about his family life.

The show was not to my expectations. This was not it's fault. This event in history is a favorite story of my dad's to tell. I enjoyed a lot of scenes and the overall moral plot. probably not going to watch every year. but will recommend it to those who want to have an understanding of the real people in history it is portraying. If you want to know about the short war. I recommend finding and reading information, it is very interesting to know. find out about the man running the Israel army and who got the American donations.
