great idea!

For a start, the picture shown isn't the product. The night light doesn't look like a black lite fluorescent lamp. I hope someone fixes that. This is a great little light with very low operating cost. I have 3 in the basement. They give off plenty of light for me to get around without turning on a bigger light. I had 2 before these, but lightning took them out. They were so handy I had to find replacements.

works well

I placed this in a dark hallway and it works very well when someone or a pet walks by. It is quite bright so you may not want to use it in your bedroom while sleeping if bright lights disrupt your sleep.

I have two of these in the kitchen. I use them so shine a bit of light when I go into the kitchen to get a drink of water. The one closest to the kitchen entrance turns on the second I step through the doorway. Now I am thinking of getting one for the stairway. Runs on electrical power, not batteries, so it will take up on eletrical outlet.
