Very neat wide angle attachment

I bought this for my Canon Rebel because I wanted to get more in my images. It does just that. It also gives a bit of a fish eye effect which I thought was very cool. I also like that it works as a macro lens as well. You get the best of both worlds with this piece. It is also great for a beginner. It's great product for the price!

Good for certain applications

What is the most important thing in a photo? The picture-quality, of course. Nothing beats the photo that has just come out of a camera ("camera-quality"). This lens, of course, is of lower quality (nothing wrong with the brand, all attachments are such) and I wouldn't use it for ordinary landscape/general photography (why ruin the camera-quality photo?). However, I will keep this lens for certain "effects" like photo stitching (the change in perspective of the end product impresses you and overcomes the reduction in picture quality, while your final photo includes more of the room as opposed to your regular wide angle lens, making it more interesting), or if a room is too small (it gives meaning to the picture by adding more of the room, thus making it worthwhile, despite lower quality photo) and so on. In other words, this lens attachment is a must have, but not for everyday landscape/general photography.
