I was skeptical at first. After all, it is pretty small. But the saying goes, "it's not the size of the dog, it's the size of the bite in the dog"! This machine is great! I've been washing dishes by hand for over 12 years in my small apartment. This was becoming extremely time consuming and frustrating. I decided to give this a try. I'm very impressed thus far. In short, this little dishwasher has been a Godsend. You can get more in it than you'd think. I'm surprised by how quiet it is. I have hard water so, I plan on doing a quick descale cleaning once a month. I've also been checking the filter for debris every week or so. Also, to keep the dishes from getting hard water spots, I just use a few drops of liquid rinse agent on the rinse cycle, and the dishes come out spotless! I really hope this dishwasher lasts. One feature I like is that you can hook up the water hose to the sink faucet, or you can skip that and just pour the water in the top of the unit without the hose hook-up. The water can be room temp or cold. The dishwasher heats up the water for you. The "Dry" feature is a wonderful addition to the regular drying cycle. When the "Dry" feature is pressed at any time during the washing or drying cycle, the unit, after drying, will continue to "air out" the unit to keep dishes fresh. I use this if I'm doing a wash late into the evening, and don't take the dishes out till the morning. Last item, is that it comes with everything you need to run the unit. Hoses, clamps, fruit basket, and even the little pitcher for pouring the water into it. Time will tell, but so far, it has exceeded my expectations. Especially for apartment dwellers without a dishwasher, this will save you some time and hassle. Great value for the money!

I was skeptical, but this dishwasher is awesome. I hated hand washing everything - wish I would have gotten this way sooner! I use a teaspoon of cascade powder and everything comes out sparkling clean. It is bulkier than I imagined, but it can fit a lot more than I initially thought. I have it next to the sink but I still just pour water into it versus connecting to the faucet. Was not clear to me in the instructions, but you turn it on, select your cycle, hit start and then pour water in - once the tank is full enough, it will automatically start washing. The drain was super simple to connect and you do not have to use the suction cup, I just lay it in the sink, the water flow draining is low. Just so happy with this purchase, I had to write a review.
