The Lancaster No. 8 Cast Iron skillet is 10.5 inches and features a durable, lightweight, and smooth design. The Lancaster No. 8 is 3-4 lbs. lighter than modern cast iron traditionally bought in store. The surface is exceptionally smooth which allows for easy cleanup and we have pre-seasoned the skillet for you so it is ready to use out of the box. This skillet features a comfortable handle, large pour spouts, and a lightweight yet strong construction that feels natural in any chef’s hands. Our passion is to create cast iron that is of the highest quality and will last for generations. We are proud to offer a Made in the USA cast iron pan. The Lancaster No. 8 cast iron skillet is created from start to finish in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

It rusted the first time I washed it with water and soap. You must thoroughly dry the pan to prevent rust.
