Great ultraportable

I've been a longtime Surface Pro user, but as Windows has become less tablet friendly and Microsoft decided to move towards ARM processors for their in house devices, I decided it was time to go back to a traditional ultraportable laptop. The ARM processors seem like they would be fine for most people, but some coding support (i.e. RStudio) is lacking for the platform. I bought this during Cyber Monday after looking at reviews for a lot of different models and having a list of criteria I wanted. This checked all the boxes for me other than having an Intel processor, but I decided to look past that and am very glad I did. It's been very snappy with excellent battery life. I haven't tested it, but while away for vacation, I've done a ~4 hours of work a day on it and go probably 3 or 4 days without charging it. It's impressively thin and is great to carry around. The screen is outstanding, and I find the number of ports adequate. Overall very happy with the purchase, especially with the discount I got.

The Lenovo Thinkpad X9 is an all around excellent performer for mg small business needs. From website backend edits, emails, PowerPoint. Internet browsing, word, excel, printing it does it all and more fast and reliable. The e keyboard is great. The aluminum casing feels quality and the screen is crystal clear. Battery life is amazing. USB ports are fast for my transfer needs if music files and pictures. I would highly recommend.
