Great cookbook with lots of cuisine variety

Trader Joe's is one of my favorite grocery stores; I love that it has lots of healthy and organic products at affordable prices. This cookbook is awesome as all the ingredients can be found at Trader Joe's. Our family has really enjoyed eating the foods I have made with this cookbook. I really like that it has recipes from so many different areas in the world so our family doesn't get bored. Before this cookbook we had never eaten African food. And I love that the recipes don't require pages and pages of ingredients or instructions. Great food that I don't have to spend hours preparing = happy mama! The chapters include French recipes, Italian, Greek, Eastern European, African, Middle East, India, Asian, Island Flavors, Latin, and All-American. Some of our favorite recipes include: tarte flambee (French), provencal chicken (French), lightening quick almond cake (French), leftover pasta frittata (bella italia), htipiti (it's a dip – greek), yogurt-slathered grilled lamb (this is one of our favorites - greek), Bavarian-style mushrooms (eastern european), apricot linzer bars, (eastern european), spicy coconut rice (African), palaver chicken (African), and muhammara (a yummy red pepper walnut spread – middle east). Every recipe we have tried has been delicious. Each recipe has a short introduction/explanation, has an ingredient list (duh!) and easy to follow instructions, and includes the serving size, prep time, and cooking time. The book is bright colored, contains some pictures of the recipes, and has a glossy finish so it doesn't get dirty as easily. I received a complimentary copy of this book for free to facilitate my review. This did not affect my opinions. All opinions are 100% mine and my immediate family member's.
