Gerber quality and lightweight !

Another Great Gerber knife to add to my collection. The Gerber paraframe clip folding knife is a beautiful knife. The color is a nice titanium / gun metal color and really looks sweet with it's stainless steel blade and the build quality is great just like most high quality gerber knives. It has the thumb assist on both sides of the blade to help with opening the knife. The handle is awesome looking too. The blade itself is about 3 inches long and it clips perfectly onto your belt or is small enough to just drop in your pocket. I usually carry this in my pocket when I'm out for a bike ride and it's light enough that I almost never recognize that it's even in my pocket. I love gerber knives because most of them are made right here in the United States and are of exceptional quality. I have several gerber knives and just added this one to my collection and I plan to keep this for a long time. If you're looking for a great quality knife that's lightweight and easy to carry or one that clips onto your belt easily, this Gerber paraframe knife should definitely be on your list of knives to look at.

Can't get a better knife for this price.

I have had this knife for about 6 months now. I think this is one of the best knives I've owned, but think new owners need to be forwarned. A couple other people had some issues that I understand where they were coming from. They include that its function is very stiff at first and another was that it wasn't sharp when they received it. First - it is stiff when new. It is difficult to open one-handed, at first. Oil alone won't do it, you have to work - open/close, open/close. I almost became Quigly-like working it in my hand like I was working ball bearings during a trial. However, by taking the time to do that, I was rewarded with a knife I can easily open one-handed, but isn't loose. It has retained its solid build quality while functioning exactly the way I hoped. Second - I don't use any knife until I've put it on a wet stone. I got my stone and honed the edge before I ever used it. Of course I got it quite sharp. The true test for me is "how long does it keep its edge"? Again, I have been rewarded by correctly sharpening this knife and not seeing any need to do it again after several months of regular use (not mis-use). Pretty good for non-US steel. Overall I have been very heppy with this knife, but it does require a "little love" when you first get it.

Great Every Day Carry Tool!

Excellent EDC Tool! Purchased for around $15 at my local Walmart. I got the Silver colored one. It feels really sturdy, no loose or jiggly blade to handle connection, the lock mechanism seems strong. The Steel seems really good, the blade came extra sharp like a razor blade and it is very light weight! Great Pocket knife for pretty much anything, can't complain, the price was great! Fiskar corporation owns the Gerber name. Best EDC knife for the $$$.
