Shoe opening is wider

I've had six Felicia ballet flats. I buy medium fit. This is my first purchase of the Luxe model. The front of these model are wider, but what I don't like is that for some reason the shoes don't fit right, kind of loose on the edge (the length is true fit but the shoe opening/rim is wide), shoes come off my feet so I do some effort with my walk to keep them in.
