EconoHome Adjustable Thermostat Plugin Thermostat

My hard-wired swamp cooler thermostat went out, just before i had to leave town, and that's a problem, because i didn't want my reptile pets to boil in the 90° heat. I found this plug-in model, and was happy to receive it in 2 days, (just in time). It arrived today, and was (mostly) very easy to set up. The instructions were easy to follow, and the unit feels solid. I set it up, set the temp, plugged in the swamp cooler, and it's working like a charm, so far. I will have to wait, before i can comment on the longevity of the device. My one criticism is that there is a toggle on the back that you have to push over, in order to switch it from heating to cooling, and that thing is hard to reach. I had to stick a paper clip in the hole, to push the selector over to the cooling function. But i did that, and i only have to do it once. Once i got that done, the rest was a cool breeze.
