I've owned these boots for a few weeks now, and so far they have been an excellent purchase and addition to my ever-growing boot collection. They fit great and as far as my personal experience goes, they seem to fit true to size, although they were very stiff to begin with as I had to unlace them about halfway to get them on the first few days but, that is to be expected with almost any new shoe/boot and once the "break-in" period was over the fit great and slide right on your feet. The only problems I've encountered so far are 1. The zippers on the sides are not YKK zippers (which are the best in my opinion) and they are extremely stiff and I almost had to use two hands to zip them up the first few times that being said I hardly count that as a fault because they've become much easier to maneuver over the last few weeks so I expect once again they require "breaking-in" so-to-speak and within another week or so will not cause any issue. And 2. They seem to be a little slippery or slick so I would not call them slip resistant but at the same time never caused me so much of a problem as to fall or anything but, keep in mind they are more slippery than other boots I have and have owned in the past. That being said I have to also say at the time I am writing this it is the middle of winter where I live so the snow/ice could have a lot to do with that as well. Altogether I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend these boots to anyone who likes this style of boot. I've gotten many compliments on them and personally love the chain detail, and the sound they make while walking. they are certainly attention grabbers for anyone walking by especially if you cuff or tuck your jeans into your boots like I do! So that's something to keep in mind as well. I'm very pleased and overall I'd say these were well worth the price!
