I am using my adapter with my 16-inch 2019 MB Pro and old 23-inch Apple Cinema display. Adapter works very well without any issue. The charge pass-through port also works as advertised.

Monoprice crushed it.

About the product itself: it works like a charm. No fuss at all. About Monoprice: the team was insanely responsive and I trust the brand overall with more of my purchases. About the usefulness of the product: I bought this initially because I had an Apple Cinema HD display that I didn't just want to get rid of. I figured I would find some weird use for it. But, ultimately, it's silly when your laptop screen has like triple the screen real estate than your external monitor that's limited by DVI. As a stop gap, I get it. But get a newer display screen. You're worth it.
