PLIERS SLIP JOI

I own a number of specialized (expensive) hose clamp pliers used in the automotive field. These pliers are my go-to tool. They work in 90% of the instances where i need to remove a spring type hose clamp. Occasionally I need a cable type tool, otherwise these Channel-lock pliers are the schnitz. Incredibly inexpensive compared to automotive oriented / marketed tools. They really grab onto and allow you to control spring clamps. Anybody who works on cars has had at least a few clamps turn into UFOs due to makeshift or poorly designed clamp pliers. Not so with these pliers. They work great. They are cut to really bite onto the clamp ears. They are designed to allow two direction operation which helps with awkwardly placed clamps. I feel that Channel-lock makes the best pliers on the planet. The fact that they are so reasonably priced and American made are two huge bonuses.
