Audubon 74240 11" X 10-1/2" X 8" Chalet Style Bird Feeder

As I write this, I can see birds using all three of my feeders, including this one. I've seen multiple reviews of this feeder that say birds will not use it. That is false. (Proof by counterexample requires only one contrary instance.) I'm not sure what's different between theirs and mine, but birds have no trouble with, or reluctance to, use mine. Construction is solid. It's smaller than I thought it would be. It holds a decent amount of food given its vertical size. A vertically short feeder does not hang as low as a taller one. Squirrels live on the ground. The higher the bottom of the feeder, the higher squirrels need to jump to reach it. If a squirrel can reach a feeder, any feeder, it can shake food out of it, regardless of any mechanism built into the feeder to keep squirrels out. The only truly squirrel proof bird feeder is one they cannot reach.

Love the color. I am happy it wont rust. Its very sturdy. All kinds of birds come in my yard. I have had other bird feeders but never got this my activity in my yard
