It is suitable for machine sewing and quilting, ideal for lock and step seams, quilt piecing, appliqué, bobbinfil, micro stippling, quilt bindings, heirloom sewing, buttonholes and sewing on buttons, ornamental stitches and decorative seams. Recommended needle size NM 60-80 / US 8-12.

Gutermann cotton thread

Gutermann is a wonderful product and one of the few 100 % cotton threads you can buy. (They also make polyester threads.) I like to use 100% cotton because it always works well in my sewing machine.
