Perfect Basement Picture with Pop!

Bought this a few days ago for a basement setup, and it is AMAZING! About 8 feet of bright crisp colors. Hooked to a Playstation and am getting really great looking movies and videos and games. No lag to speak of. Sound is disappointing but I knew it would be going in, so be sure you get a sound system of any kind first.

Great for the Price!

I've had this H980A for two years and for the it has been great. I was curious if 1080 would be ok at 120" but it is totally fine. I had a low budget and this has surpassed my expectiations. I bought it for movies but I ended up using it daily. Very happy.

Great

Well I had a lengthy review before I accidentally refreshed the screen... So here is the short version. Ceiling mounted, 8 feet from screen, HDMI sound extractor, and sound bar with woofer. Movies: excellent quality. I've played dvds and bluray from ma PS4, PS5, and Bluray player. 1990s and earlier movies have a certain mechanic graininess to them from how they were originally filmed. Jurassic Park looked like how it did when I saw it in theaters when it came out. Gaming has almost zero latency even with zoom and keystone correction. I've played 10+ different consoles on it. No issues. Currently playing PC on it via Steam. I plays best with 1280x720 because text gets too small for my taste. Sound was a tricky. I prefer gaming with Wi-Fi headphones. I use Linux so HDMI sound is glitchy on the Nvidia GTX 1650 with the 580 driver. Its better to Bluetooth to a sound bar than extract from HDMI on my case. Don't Bluetooth audio while watching movies or of YouTube. The projector gets loud sometimes when brightness is up from running I daytime, specifically morning when the sun hits the windows. The onboard speaker is terrible but it's not ment to be for cinema use. Screen mirroring works great. Use the app. Miracast isnt native on this model. iProjector app is good. Turn off auto-source scanning to clear up disconnect issues if you have an HDMI switch box. Sharpness and brightness is excellent when adjusted correctly.
