BEAUTIFUL and super well designed with easy to understand instructions! You do have to purchase four 4x4's, eight 2x6x12's and around six bags of quick set concrete mix, which may not be in the item description, but this is what makes it so sturdy. It took my husband several days to complete the assembly (it took both of us for some of the assembly). In our case the pergola was not installed on concrete or a wood deck, we installed it in the ground where we already had a paver stone patio, so he had to remove some pavers, dig the holes for the four posts, cement them in place, and wait until the next day after the cement had set to continue (in our case he had to cut pavers to fit around the posts). It may have been a lot of work, including a lot of screws to screw in and glue to apply, but in the end you have a gorgeous pergola that will be easy to maintain and should last a very long time. We are very happy and have already received many compliments after only two days. Also, we ordered this and it was at our front door in just a few days!!!

Looks awesome. Very pleased with overall look & ease of construction. Somewhat disappointed with Hayneedle- called their customer service with a question prior to purchasing the pergola. CS representative said she had to ask manufacturer. Never did get a reply. I called manufacturer to get the needed answer.
