didnt use hammer drill, normal corded drill. went in about quarter inch in seconds, then stopped making progress. had to switch to older worn bit to finish hole faster. 1 inch hole took about 15 to 20 minutes, did take a few breaks to let it cool down, eventually gave up and used older bit. the older worn bit did better job than its replacement, dont know material difference between bits.
