Final product is comfortable but narrow. Recommend piloting pre-drilled holes with 1/8" bit. Used "ultimate" water proof wood glue for joints/screws. Feels like they will break in a few seasons use particularly around the front legs and armrest connections. I will enjoy them and they will be used. Good for an interim solution with limited funds.

These chairs look great and fold easily. However, the finish started to look worn and rough in a matter of a few weeks. VERY disappointing! Looks like you'd have to maintain the finish by repainting every single year. What a pain - and too bad as they look great.
