I have been wearing New Balance(NB) for years and the durability is a primary concern but the fit and comfort is necessary. I play on average a minimum of 3 hours of tennis three to four times a week and the shoe must have the durability and comfort.

Good but…..

Shoes fit well without having to break them in. However I made a mistake last time and bought 2 pair of 696. I used one pair for over 8 months. I then put them on lawn mower duty. I then started the second pair and in less than 6 weeks of maybe twice a week tennis the glue gave out on the soles. To look at the shoes and the tread they looked brand new but they are unwearable not even for lawn mower duty. I will not buy two pair again and I had no recourse because the shoes were more 9 months after purchase. In days past I always bought 2 pair of NB running shoes or tennis shoes at a time without any problem .sadly the quality today is not what it once was. The price remains high though🥺
