This shovel lived up to my expectations. The solid wood handle is stout and comfortable in my hands. the steel blade is high quality coated thick steel. It resists damage from driveway and sidewalk usage. Snow slides effortlessly off the coated steel. I am pleased and the cost was wirth the price.

Worth the money

I have had several aluminum snow shovels and they don't seem to hold up well on rough concrete and asphalt, with the blade wearing away quickly, especially in the center due to the pressure exerted there by the handle. Steel shovels last longer, and this one is the beefiest I've found. That said, it is noticeably heavier than the other steel bladed shovels I've had, so if you need to do a lot of lifting or throwing of snow, you might find this one giving you a work out.
